Sir Robert McAlpine were employed by Anschutz Entertainment Group for the construction of the 23,000 seat O2 Arena housed in the Dome in North Greenwich London. In late 2006, less than 9 months before scheduled completion of the contract, AEG requested that we undertake the whole of the catering and pumped drinks/beer systems detailed design installation. Based upon our experience of working with KCCJ at the Emirates, we single source negotiated the design, supply and installation of the whole of the catering to KCCJ. The value of this work was approximately 6.2 million.

KCCJ successfully completed the design and installation to an extremely tight programme. This included assisting the client to develop his detailed requirements and leading re-coordination of the base build services as necessary. This project has reinforced our faith in using KCCJ and demonstrated once again their ability to bridge client and contractor needs.
