Arsenal Emirates Stadium
The comprehensive catering infrastructure at the iconic Emirates Stadium was designed, supplied and installed by KCCJ.
This massive project involved concept designs for 35 concessions, 18 kitchens, 22 bars and the main support kitchen. KCCJ project managed the entire installation from start to finish, appointing a wide range of equipment partners, such as Electrolux, Ventmaster, Carters and IMI Cornelius to handle specialist areas of work.
In addition to planning and managing the co-ordination of all the utility services, KCCJ also installed the kitchen concession ductwork and canopies throughout the stadium.
The Emirates’ groundbreaking beer system, developed in conjunction with KCCJ, can cope with at least 2,400 pints pulled per minute, enabling bar staff to serve a drink to 50 per cent of a capacity crowd during the 15 minute half time break. KCCJ also organised the chilling, bulk gas supply and the routing of the beer lines, which has to dovetail with refrigeration and gas pipework and ventilation ducting.
