Croke Park Hotel, Dublin

As part of the contract to supply, install and commission fittings and equipment for the main kitchen, servery, bar, executive lounge and staff room of this 4* hotel, we also negotiated warranties from UK suppliers and local service companies, meeting the opening deadline for an All Ireland final at the famous Croke Park, home of Gaelic Games, opposite the 232-bedroom hotel.

This project covered a 3 month period, as the coldrooms and refrigeration plant were required several weeks before the kitchen opened. KCCJ designed, supplied, exported from the UK, installed, commissioned & handed over all equipment for the following areas:

Main kitchen: Hobart dishwash scheme, Foster refrigerated cabinets & coldrooms, Falcon cooking equipment

Servery counter: Granite-top refrigerated counter, custom-built to look like a sideboard when not in use, granite top heated section with chafing dishes for breakfast service which are replaced with granite inserts outside breakfast time. Granite from this counter was extended to incorporate a heated pass-over to the semi-open plan kitchen.

Staff Room: Drinks machine, Bain marie, hotcupboard and cold display.

Bar Area: Stainless steel back bar, stainless steel bottle coolers, keg store, 3 ice machines to create additional bars during match days at Croke Park.

Executive Lounge: A small prep kitchen, heated and refrigerated displays to the shopfitted servery counter.
