The first floor kitchen which services the 250 seat restaurant was also designed with flexibility in mind being able to offer anything from cook chill with support from the ground floor kitchen, set menus direct from the kitchen for mid size events and a level of A La Carte.
The third floor kitchen provides for the client boxes covering a varied menu.
In addition to the kitchens KCCJ were also responsible for designing and supplying the food and drinks kiosks, bars on the ground and first floor, dispense bar on the second floor and unusually the Tote counters.
The bars were an interesting challenge being clad to the fronts in white Corian to create a white wall effect with the bar and Tote counters on the first floor located in the restaurant further enhanced with white Corian translucent front panelling where either white LED lights add a whole variety of colours. The impact of the colour changes and general dimming of the lighting helped to create a whole mood change making the area highly flexible for many styles of events.
The new grandstand has further enhanced the facilities at Fontwell Park in what is a unique racecourse.
