SECC, Glasgow
Refurbishment of Glasgow’s successful exhibition and conference centre in the former Queens Dock included a new 12,500-seat national entertainments arena (the largest entertainments venue in Scotland), with a range of catering outlets ranging from fast food to à la carte dining.
KCCJ replaced the kitchen at The Gallery Bistro.
The aim of this project was to create a 200-seat restaurant within the restricted space of the Paul Hamlyn Hall Balcony a first-floor inner balcony, with breathtaking views of the stunning interior architecture of the magnificent Opera House.

First opened in 1934 as the Empire Pool & Sports Arena to host the 1948 Olympics, a £35 million refurbishment has created the UK’s flagship live music venue, within the Wembley Stadium Complex.
Spectrum Leisure Services is a service unit within Guildford Borough Council which provides a range of sports, leisure and entertainment activities in the Guildford Borough.

Following discussions with the university, KCCJ designed a coffee shop similar to a popular high street chain to serve the staff and students of the business and law building.

Beckham Football Academy, Greenwich
KCCJ designed, supplied & installed the main kitchen and servery counter, which supplies healthy food options for the restaurant, used by children and hospitality clients.

Lytchett Minster Upper School, Dorset
This school, part of the BSF (Better Schools For the Future) scheme, was damaged by fire. Modern facilities built onto the existing historic manor house included kitchen and dining areas. Parts of the existing kitchen have listed walls so KCCJ liaised with conservation architects to develop the layout of the new kitchen.
The refurbishment of the junior rank’s mess involved strict security measures. The KCCJ project manager remained onsite to supervise deliveries and ensure that all our contractors held valid security passes.

The SNCO’s mess kitchen was completed and handed-over before work commenced on the officers mess kitchen.

The visitor’s expectations of this cultural landmark and centre for performing arts are heightened by its original external design, with the letters of a monumental inscription across the entrance forming the innovative windows of the building.

The installation of new dishwashing equipment, sink unit and racking, included the fitting of a new flush-fitting manhole cover.

Athenaeum Gentleman’s Club, Pall Mall
Specialist skills were required to lift large equipment into the basement kitchen of this nineteenth-century listed building without damaging listed marble floors.
KCCJ has created catering facilities at many ‘Welcome Break’ service areas throughout the UK including the design, supply, installation and commissioning of hot and refrigerated counters and a production kitchen at Michaelwood Services (M5 Southbound).

Harry Ramsden’s, Piccadilly Circus
The design, supply, installation and commissioning of a kitchen for a Harry Ramsden’s ‘Palace Style’ restaurant (160 seats) and take-away operation (40 seats).
The KCCJ design team assisted Compass Roadside in creating a new image for their Little Chef brand, completing the initial design and installation at more than 20 UK sites in just over one year.

IBM Pinehurst
KCCJ supplied, delivered and installed kitchen equipment in a first floor kitchen area which serves a 50-seater staff restaurant in the newly refurbished office wing of this world leading IT company.
This complex project, in two phases, created staff dining facilities in three buildings at the BBC White City Media Village: White City One, and two new buildings, the Broadcast Centre, and the Media Centre.

This was the first 5* hotel to open in Greater Manchester, as part of the Chapel Wharf development, adjacent to the landmark Trinity footbridge.

Mazars – The Bean Counter
When Mazars decided to include a staff coffee shop and restaurant at its prestigious new UK office at St. Katherine’s Dock, it had to enhance the quality image of an international audit and consulting group.
Design, Supply, Install & Commission of Main Kitchen of 145m² complete with remote refrigeration to Chiller & Freezer rooms, U shaped granite top servery counter, satellite kitchen for meeting rooms, Bar area including basement cellar & water / ice dispensers to each floor.
