We have recently been busy with the opening of three Jurys Inn's over a 3 week period. Although we have been working on all (3) three sites over the last (5) five months with initial surveys and site meetings the planning and organisation of our project team was well tested in the final couple of weeks to meet the planned opening timetable.
All three hotels opened on time and on budget, the total budget for all three hotels of £585k
These sites were the first to have a new design servery counter going away from the traditional U shaped double sided counter used at previous Inn's, these new counters were developed through much discussion between KCCJ and Jury's Inn.
Exeter and Swindon had a slightly modified version, which was a combined hot food and beverage counter and a seperate cold display, where as Derby which will become the new standard if successful, had a seperate counter for each of the following Hot Food, Cold Food & Beverages.
Our attention now turns to Jury's Inn Aberdeen with the installation of the main kitchen starting mid July with a completion date in August.
