KCCJ Vacancy: Project Manager

KCCJ are recognised leaders in the nationwide design, supply and installation of catering equipment.

KCCJ are currently seeking motivated individual to take on the role of Project Manager within our projects team based in Dartford, Kent.



The primary responsibility of the successful applicant will be to cover all aspects of a project from the design stage through to equipment purchasing, installation, completion and handover to the client. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with clients and agreeing project objectives and briefs
  • Site surveying
  • Liaising with the drawing office on the production of site layout and service drawings
  • Equipment selection suitable to task and client budget
  • Site set up and Risk Assessments
  • Planning program of works to meet key dates
  • Recruiting and organising specialists and sub-contractors
  • Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure H&S and quality guidelines are maintained
  • Accounting, costing and invoicing
  • Making sure that all the aims of a project are met
  • Representing the company and the client's interest
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with clients, team members, site operatives and suppliers / service providers
  • Contribute to the company's development plans, strategies and team goals
  • Contribute to process improvement and ensure/ promote efficient work practices
  • Keep management informed on progress or issues
  • Conformance to company H&S procedures and statutory obligations


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant experience and demonstrated ability from within the commercial kitchen industry
  • Catering equipment industry experience will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret information
  • Excellent time management, task coordination and prioritisation skills
  • High level communication, diplomacy and presentation skills
  • Confident negotiation, planning and problem solving abilities
  • Timely reporting and organisational skills
  • Computer skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic team player with a “can-do attitude”
  • Commercial awareness
  • Full clean drivers license

LOCATION: Nationally on live sites (Office based in Dartford)

CONTRACT: Permanent

JOB TYPE: Full Time

SALARY: DOE + Company Car
