KCCJ Consultancy: ISG break ground on Edrich and Compton stands
ISG has broken ground at Lord’s cricket ground’s Compton and Edrich stands. Now the second Ashes test is all wrapped up at the venue, work has commenced on the £52m project.
Working alongside some of the world’s most innovative architectural practices KCCJ has been involved in the planning and re-development of: the new Warner stand, including the members prime dining location, the Pelham restaurant; the main grandstand, including the hospitality kitchens and ground floor concessions; the Compton and Edrich stands, where there are plans to add another tier within which there will be two restaurants as well as bars and concessions; and, most recently, discussions surrounding a project to update the Tavern stand and the famous Thomas Lord building.
The development of the Compton and Edrich stands is the second phase of the major redevelopment plan for the cricket ground, masterplanned by Populous. Fully fitted-out facilities are scheduled to be completed in time for the formal opening of the new stands in the summer of 2021.Twitter Google+ LinkedIn
